About the facility
Barwon Health’s newly formed Public Health Unit servicing the Barwon South West region is initially focussing on COVID-19 preparedness, response and facilitation, with a particular focus initially on the COVID 19 Vaccination program. It will then later focus on other key areas of communicable and chronic diseases to improve public health to the entire region.
About the role
An opportunity exists for an Information Management Administrator to join the newly formed Public Health Unit. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Public Health Unit to capture and amend client level data in the appropriate information systems to support Government Reporting and information Management within the vaccination program. The position involves configuration of systems to facilitate data entry, and internal specification of reports/data dictionary to facilitate departmental self-management as well as data evaluating pre and post submission to the Department of Health.
This role will be located at the Barwon Health Community Vaccination Hub (former Ford site on Melbourne Road) and the hours of work required for this position are 8:00-16:30 or 18:00 – 21:00.
