About the role
The Clinical Adviser works as an integral part of the Project Team developing and implementing the new strategic clinical services plan for Barwon Health. The role of the Clinical Adviser is to research, analyse, develop proposals and contribute to the development and implementation of the plan. The Clinical Adviser position will be filled by an existing clinician working in a management role who is motivated by the opportunity to improve clinical services across Barwon Health. The role may be filled by one or two people, each of whom will work a minimum of 2 days/week. The role provides the opportunity to develop strategic experience and skills working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director Strategy & Planning, the Clinical Directors, the Chief Medical Officer and a core project team led by Stephen Gow as Project Director. The Clinical Adviser will bring their clinical knowledge and their understanding of Barwon Health clinical service delivery to complement the service planning, analysis and strategic development skills of the Project Team.
