An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Trial Coordinator to join the Adrian Costa Clinical Trial Centre (ACCTC) in a 12month fixed term position initially with the option to extend indefinitely. Ideally on a full time basis, although for the right candidate this is negotiable.
About our Centre
The Adrian Costa Clinical Trial Centre is a new Clinical Trials Centre at Barwon Health that will provide a facility and service to support clinical trials at Barwon Health in conjunction with our collaborative partners across the South west of Victoria.
About the role
The successful applicant will become part of the establishment of this new and exciting service for the Greater Geelong region, under the direction of the Director and will be responsible for the primary coordination of new clinical trials as well as support of coordination of other trials across other departments. The role involves delivery of direct and in-direct clinical-trial-related care of patients, associated data collection and maintenance of essential trial documents. This particular role would have a focus on remote and telehealth trials
Duties/Responsibilities
Assist as a key member of the ACCTC research team to ensure optimal clinical management of eligible, consenting trial patients under the supervision of the Principal Investigator according to study protocol criteria.
Assist in the recruitment, treatment and management of patients participating in specific clinical trials as well as others as required across Barwon Health.
