About the facility

Barwon Audiology is based at the University Hospital Geelong and provides comprehensive diagnostic Audiology to paediatric and adult patients.  The range of services offered includes infant diagnostic electrophysiological assessments, identification and management of auditory disorders in children with special needs, auditory processing and vestibular function assessments, and inpatient Audiology support services.

About the role

Barwon Health are currently seeking a Grade 2 Audiologist to join their team of professional and dedicated staff. In this role you will provide high quality diagnostic Audiological care to a varied caseload within the Barwon Health Audiology program.  Collaborate with the team to support more junior clinical staff and student placements as well as assist leadership in the development of quality improvement projects.

Your qualifications should include a Master of Audiological Science or equivalent.  Eligibility for Membership to Audiology Australia is essential.  Support and supervision for Audiology Australia’s Certificate of Clinical Practice is available.  Appointment is subject to a satisfactory police check and Working with Children Check.

Selection Criteria Essential: Master or Graduate Diploma in Audiology and eligibility for membership to the ASA Clinical competence, professional initiative and the ability to work independently
