About SWARH

The South West Alliance of Rural Health (SWARH) is an alliance of public health agencies covering 33 physical sites in the South West of Victoria. SWARH connects all public acute hospitals and associated health service in the region through the delivery of information technology services. This enables each of the public acute hospitals and associated health services within the region to improve service delivery and gain returns on investment not possible on their own. Barwon Health is party to this unincorporated arrangement and therefore treats the arrangement as a joint operation, taking a share of the operations to account.

About the Role

The Executive Officer (EO) provides organisational vision and leadership to enable SWARH to achieve its strategic and operational objectives.  The position directs the planning and implementation of ICT systems and people to maximise operational effectiveness and productivity across all member agencies.  Among the core roles of the EO is the ability to work with the diverse membership and customer base in the region and to drive the delivery of excellence in customer service.
