About the facility
Barwon Health Corio is a multicultural health hub for the communities in the Northern Suburbs of Geelong. Our Northern Area Health Team is made up Oral Health, Community Nursing, Primary Care, Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Services. All the staff at our centre is extremely friendly and innovative in delivering services to our community and we are looking for someone who is driven to complement our administration team.
We are located in a prominent position in the Northern Suburbs. The facility is busy and caters for a diverse range of programs.
About the role
This is a great opportunity to work alongside a highly dedicated and experienced team with a patient centred focus to achieve positive patient outcomes. In this role you will provide an effective and efficient reception/administrative service and to contribute to the overall performance of Barwon Health as well as ensure high quality customer service. A focus of this role is ensuring that the administration functions support the patient journey core principles of access and patient centred care with a high standard of quality. The role will ensure daily work allocation occurs in an effective and efficient manner.

Selection Criteria
|
Essential: •Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Essential: •High level of computer literacy and skills, including the proficient use of the Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook and electronic information systems and databases. Essential: •Demonstrated experience in a busy reception, providing clerical, administrative duties in a confidential environment. Essential: You are able to work in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment.
