About the facility 

Barwon Health’s McKellar Centre is located only minutes from the centre of Geelong. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state of the art equipment. Wallace Lodge, located at the McKellar Centre, is a 108 bed, high level, aged care residential facility. We offer focused professional development with dedicated nursing educators on site, set within new state-of-the-art facilities 

About the role 

The Nurse Unit Manager will see the provision of Clinical leadership within the unit including overseeing the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual resident care, to maximise choice and quality of life for each resident. The Nurse Unit Manager forms part of the management team at Wallace Lodge and works closely with the Facility Manager in developing, managing and evaluating facility performance.
