About the facility

Jigsaw provides specialist early intervention for young people with or at risk of developing a psychotic disorder and treatment services for young people with drug and alcohol and/or high prevalence disorders. Under the auspice of the wider Barwon Health Mental Health & Drug Alcohol Service, it also forms a central component of the Headspace Geelong Consortia and is actively involved in service development and innovation to assist in the national campaign to promote early and effective mental health and drug and alcohol interventions for young people.

About the roles

As the successful candidate you will provide mental health, drug and alcohol care to young people aged 16-25 years old in the Barwon region. You will also be responsible for the delivery of best practice, evidence based treatment and support to young people with emerging or established mental health difficulties. *The senior clinician will have the above responsibilities as well as providing clinician and line management supervision for staff within the Colac team.

We currently have the following positions available:

  • Senior Clinician - Permanent Part Time – 64 hours per fortnight – Colac
  • Clinician – Permanent Part Time – 64 hours per fortnight – Geelong City
  • Clinician – hours negotiable – Geelong City and North Geelong

You will need to have a formal qualification and experience in either Psychiatric Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Psychology to be considered for the positions.
