Are you a current Nurse EEN who has recently graduated and would like to be supported in your transition to practice? We are offering a transition to practice program in Aged Care:

• 12 week paid intensive program where clinical support is provided, including supernumerary time
• Ongoing part-time or fulltime employment at successful completion of the program
• Access ongoing training and professional development.

About Aged Care Transition to Practice Locations.

During the 12 week program you will be working in 2 area, both at Grace McKellar in North Geelong.

• Wallace Lodge- 108 bed Facility, where the residents require assistance with their daily living, chronic medical conditions and social engagement within the community.
• Blakiston Lodge- 90 Bed Facility caring for patients with behaviours of concern.

About you  

As the successful applicant you will:

• Have excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and excellent clinical skills,
• Provide evidence based, high quality care to patients.
• Delivering consumer-centred care that meets best practice standards and in line with Barwon Health requirements
