About the facility 

Formed in 1998, Barwon Health is one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, providing care at all stages of life and circumstance. It is Victoria’s largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We serve over 500,000 people through the efforts of over 7,000 staff and more than 1,000 volunteers.

Baxter 7 is a 32 bed unit, encompassing General Medicine, Endocrinology and Infectious Diseases. Due to winter demands the ward will be increasing their beds from 32 to 36. The ward is centrally located at University Hospital Geelong only a short walk from our vibrant waterfront, botanical garden and cosmopolitan CBD with an array of festivities on offer.

About the role 

Are you a highly motivated Registered Nurse looking to enhance your career in Victoria’s leading regional health care service? Don’t miss this opportunity to join a dynamic and empowering team environment in a permanent part time position.

To be successful in this role you will have experience working in acute care, the ability to work within a team, an interest in quality improvement and the ability to work a flexible roster. Clinical experience will focus on developing patient assessment skills and interventions aimed at providing optimal patient outcomes.

Shortlisted applicants will need to be available for an assessment centre that will be held 13^th August or 23^rd August. The assessment centre will involve a group activity, a short panel interview and written questions over the course of three hours.
