About the facility
Barwon Health’s Geelong Cardiology Practice provides comprehensive cardiology services to patients from across the region. Our facilities include two new Cath labs, providing EP, Pacing and 24/7 STEMI services, a full cardiac diagnostics service is provided including seven Echo rooms.
Barwon Health is the largest Regional Health Service provider in Victoria. Geelong Cardiology Practice is committed to delivering personalised, high quality health care to patients in the hospital setting as well as via their Private Consultation clinic, enabling a continuum of care for patients and their families.
About the role
Barwon Health has a current vacancy for a permanent Cardiac Sonographer (Grade 3).
As the Cardiac Sonographer your duties will include but are not limited to;
- Providing patient focused Cardiac Ultrasound service to inpatients, emergency patients and outpatients across all Barwon Health cardiology sites
- Conducting other cardiac tests depending on qualifications and experience, including cardiac Cath lab, pacemaker checks, EPS, ECG's, Blood Pressure & Holter Monitor fittings, Holter analysis and Exercise Stress tests.
Applicants with Cardiac Ultrasound qualifications or experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
