About the facility
Percy Baxter Lodge is located at the McKellar Centre on Ballarat Road Geelong. Percy Baxter Lodge home to 63 residents offering a cosy, home-like environment in a beautiful garden setting which enhances emotional wellbeing. It features a warm and inviting shared areas, with comfortable seating and pleasant surroundings in which to dine and socialise with fellow residents.
About the role
Provide clinical leadership to a committed group of long serving staff to ensure residents' health care needs are met in accordance with Barwon Health's priorities and values and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
- Provision of clinical leadership within the facility and working in partnership with other areas of Barwon Health and the community to provide coordinated and timely resident access to services
- Undertaking efficient daily management of resident care including staff supervision and identifying opportunities for improvements
- Monitoring data, developing reports and participation in governance processes.
