About the facility 

Barwon Medical Imaging provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic services including X-Ray, OPG, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Angiography, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine. These services are performed by a team of highly skilled radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses and support staff who ensure that all patients have access to quality services

 About the role 

As the Grade 3 CT Radiographer you will assist the CT Grade 4 and MCK Site Supervisor to manage and co-ordinate the CT services across the organisation.

Essential: Victorian Government, Department of Health, Radiation ‘Use Licence’
Essential: Tertiary qualification recognised by the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy (ASMIRT) – e.g. Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations (RMIT)
Essential: Demonstrate a broad range of knowledge, experience and competency in all routine medical imaging examinations
Essential: Ability to participate in after hours CT and imaging services across Barwon Health including weekends, evenings and on call.
Desirable: At least 7 years' experience in medical imaging including supervision and/or leadership
Essential: Expert knowledge of all CT scanning techniques across both Siemens and Philips platforms
Desirable: Previous experience in supervisory roles and knowledge of requirements for Gr 3 CT.
Essential: Experience in all CT workups including advanced vascular cases.
