About the facility
The Clinical Education and Training Unit leads an integrated approach to clinical education and training, helping Barwon Health to achieve its education goals by delivering, supporting and promoting coordinated, quality education and training across health care roles in Barwon Health and the Barwon South Western region. We comprise of an interprofessional team of clinical educators and support staff across allied health, nursing, midwifery, and medical disciplines, working together to develop clinicians who model excellent practice, challenge poor practice, and inspire others.

A rare opportunity has presented with the opportunity to join Geelong’s fastest growing health service in a coordinator role. The successful person will be required to:
- Review current requirements for education and training compliance with accreditation standards.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for benchmarking and solution identification.
- Develop and implement tools, templates, surveys and resources.
- Day to day leadership and administrative decisions.
- Budget expenditure, planning and monitoring for program areas within delegated authority.
- Human resource management, leave management and industrial relations management for portfolio.
