Position Summary
|
- Lead the service to provide high quality consumer focussed emergency care

- Temporary Part-time (64 hours) – parental leave relief
About the facility
Barwon Health is one of the largest regional health services in Victoria, providing care for approximately 80,000 emergency presentations per year. Under Barwon Health’s emergency model of care patients are streamed to dedicated assessment areas including fast track, adult, paediatric, resuscitation, trauma and mental health areas. Our mission is to improve access and patient flow to provide a sustainable service that ensures high quality, safe, people-focused care. The emergency department also has short stay units to ensure consumers receive the right care, at the right place at the right time.
About the role
Exciting opportunity to join our dynamic & supportive leadership team. Leading the service to provide high quality consumer focused emergency care. Managing the day to day operations of a shift, issue resolution, workforce management and driving positive change. As well as providing education, training and clinical support to staff. Build on your management skills working alongside Nurse Unit Manager, completion of performance appraisals, clinical incident management and quality improvement initiatives.
